HONESTY- THE BEST POLICY

Honesty is a sign of respect – if you respect your friend, you’ll be honest with him or her.

Honesty is important to your friend because they can trust you. If they know you won’t lie to them or cheat on them, they can share their feelings and personal information with you without fear of being judged. Because honesty means that your friend trusts you to respect them for who they are.

If you don’t respect someone, you’re more likely to lie to them or be dishonest. This is true in any relationship where there’s no mutual respect. Depending on how much power one has over the other (or if neither has any power at all), this can lead to dishonesty on both sides.

Honesty shows that you have confidence in yourself and your friendship – if you aren’t afraid to tell the truth, you must believe in your friendship. This is important because when you’re honest with a friend, it shows that he or she can trust you and open up to you completely. It also shows that you care enough about your friendship to be completely honest about what’s going on with you, even if it means you might hurt their feelings or embarrass them for a moment.

If someone is unwilling to talk to you about such things, it can mean one of two things: either he or she doesn’t care as much about your friendship as he or she claims (which means there may be other priorities), or, more likely, he or she doesn’t trust himself or herself around his or her friends because something else is going on.

You can tell if someone is taking advantage of you by how they treat other people, how much time they spend with their friends and family, and how often they call or visit you. A trustworthy person makes sure these things are the same in all their relationships – in other words: if one person spends more time with them than another (or vice versa), they know something is wrong.

You can let your guard down completely, knowing that they are being honest with you and that their words won’t come back to bite them in the butt later (and ruin everything). When that happens, you’ll both feel much more comfortable around each other and enjoy being together even more! This is especially true if the lie involves a betrayal or manipulation because those are two things that most people react negatively to when done by someone close to them. Also, a lie is a form of selfishness – it shows that you care more about yourself than about being friends with that person.

Finally, there’s no reason for lying in friendships, because sometimes honesty is even better than dishonesty!
